We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to ensure that our facility, including office spaces and operational areas, are maintained. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various maintenance tasks, and contribute to the smooth operation of our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, minor electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and troubleshoot issues to avoid downtime.
- Help maintain the exterior of the building, including basic parking lot upkeep, etc.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance routines, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Assist with facility upgrades and projects, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle physical workload and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
