Job Location: Fort Pierce, FL

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Crane and Truck Mechanic who will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing our fleet of cranes, trucks, and heavy haul equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of the crane, rigging, and heavy haul industry.

Responsibilities:
– Perform routine maintenance tasks on cranes, trucks, trailers, and heavy haul equipment, including inspections, lubrication, fluid changes, and filter replacements.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with cranes, trucks, and other equipment, using diagnostic tools and equipment as needed.
– Conduct repairs and replacements of defective parts, components, or systems, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and according to manufacturer specifications.
– Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on a regular basis to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns or downtime.
– Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service schedules, parts inventory, and equipment history.
– Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritize work orders, and ensure that all equipment is maintained in optimal condition.
– Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
– Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in crane, rigging, and heavy haul equipment maintenance.

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a mechanic, with specific experience working on cranes, trucks, and heavy haul equipment preferred.
– Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
– Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
– Familiarity with crane, rigging, and heavy haul equipment manufacturers and models.
– Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
– Must be willing to travel out of state for extended periods as required by project demands.
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
– Must pass fit for duty assessment, drug test, and background check.
