We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Parts Room Clerk to join our team. As a crucial member of our corporate service department operations, you will be responsible for managing inventory and supplies within our parts room, ensuring that our technicians have access to the parts and equipment they need to maintain our fleet of truck, cranes, rigging, welding, and machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming parts and supplies.
  • Organize and maintain inventory within the parts room, utilizing proper storage methods and labeling.
  • Issue parts and equipment to technicians and other personnel as requested
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Service Director to optimize inventory levels and streamline processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the parts room, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree a plus.
  • 2 years minimum experience in inventory management or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including inventory management.
  • Knowledge of crane and rigging equipment is a plus.
  • Other duties as assigned.
