We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections on trailers to ensure they are safe and roadworthy. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on trailers, including brakes, suspension, lighting, and coupling systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep trailers in optimal condition.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify and address any issues or potential safety hazards.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve complex problems efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Trailer Mechanic or similar role, with knowledge of trailer systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
